Air Conditioning Tune-up, and Safety Inspection

Trained 72 Degrees technicians will perform a 60-90 minute precision tune-up including the following 20 operations:
- Blower Motor – measure amperage and check voltage for proper operation
- Thermostat – test for proper operation and level
- Clean existing air filter (as needed, if applicable)
- Bearings – inspect for wear and lubricate (if applicable)
- Check indoor coil (if accessible)
- Condensate Drain – flush
- Inspect condenser coil
- Refrigerant – monitor operating pressures
- Safety Devices – inspect for proper operation
- Electrical Disconnect Box – inspect for proper rating and safe installation
- Electrical Wiring – inspect and tighten connections
- Test/inspect contactors for burned, pitted contacts
- Inspect electrical for exposed wiring
- Inspect and test capacitors
- Inspect fan blade
- Check condenser coil
- Inspect service valves for proper operation
- Measure supply/return temperature differential
- Inspect duct work for energy loss
- Compressor – monitor, measure amperage draw and voltage, check wiring connections
Furnace Tune-Up, Cleaning and Safety Inspection

- Thermostat – test for proper operation and level
- Inspect for combustible material around furnace
- Ignition System – test for safe and proper operation
- Exhaust System – test for proper/safe venting
- Measure supply/return temperature differential
- Safety & Control Circuits – test for proper operation
- Inspect and adjust fan belt tension (if applicable)
- Clean existing air filter (as needed, if applicable)
- Lubricate blower motor, inspect blower wheel
- Furnace Burner – clean and inspect (brush and vacuum)
- Clean furnace exterior
- HydroScan™ inspection and certification of heat exchanger for dangerous cracks and wear
- Gas Pressure – measure and adjust for peak efficiency
